Our Story

My father and I have been around real estate for a very long time.

Across property transactions, legal due diligence, regulatory compliances — we've seen how real estate works in India from the inside. The paperwork, the processes, the pitfalls. All of it. It's not something we read about or stumbled into. It's the world we grew up in.

And over the years, one thing kept coming up — NRIs getting a raw deal.

We saw it in Delhi NCR. In Mumbai. In Bengaluru. In Hyderabad. In Pune. In Chennai. Across every major city where NRIs invest, the story was painfully similar. NRIs who sent money home to buy property — a flat for their parents, a plot for retirement, a house for the day they finally come back — and then spent years chasing builders, brokers, or relatives for answers.

The property was supposed to be their connection to India. Instead, it became their biggest headache.

Some found out their title wasn't clean — after they'd already paid. Some trusted a local contact who cut corners on documentation. Some bought from builders who took the money and went silent. And almost all of them had the same frustration — they were too far away to do anything about it.

What struck us wasn't just the financial loss. It was the helplessness. Sitting in Toronto or Dubai or London, trying to get answers over WhatsApp calls at odd hours, forwarding documents they didn't fully understand, never really knowing if things were moving or if they were just being managed with reassurances.

The problem was never that NRIs made bad decisions. They're some of the sharpest, most hardworking people out there. The problem was that they had no one trustworthy on the ground. No one checking the title properly. No one making sure the documentation was RERA-compliant. No one giving honest advice instead of just pushing a sale. And no one picking up the phone at 10 PM India time when someone in Canada had a simple question about their property.

Everyone was happy to take the NRI's money. No one was willing to genuinely protect the NRI's interest.

We decided to change that.

House of NRI is built on a simple idea — a professional, reliable team that works exclusively for NRIs. We're young people who move fast, communicate clearly, and don't believe in the old-school "trust me, sir" way of doing business. But behind us is the experience of people who've spent decades in Indian real estate — people who've seen every way a deal can go wrong and know exactly how to make sure it doesn't.

We verify every property before we show it to you. We handle the legal, the tax, the paperwork. We keep you informed before you have to ask. And if something doesn't feel right about a deal, we'll be the first to tell you to walk away.

Because we don't work for builders. We don't work for brokers. We work for you.

That's why we call ourselves House of NRI — because this isn't just a company. It's your house. And our job is to bring you home

The house that brings you home.
